High Anticipation for the iPad 3?

We all love the latest and most recent high tech gadgets don't we? Specially if it makes playing games much more fun and easier to play.

Ipad fanatics will have high anticipation about the new iPad 3's release this spring. Having such a thin complexion, the iPad 3 is expecting to bring out new features upon its release. Such features will be a new resolution size of 2048 x 1536 stretching the resolution in both directions but having almost the exact same pixel size as the iPhone 4 as well as screen size of 9.7 inches like the iPad 2. Other improved features include a new quad-core A6 processor to result in even faster graphics processing despite the higher pixel count, better cameras (front and back), better battery life, and the addition of Siri (the voice-activated assistant featured on the iPhone 4S). These features, likely to be introduced at the same $499 price for the basic iPad 2, could have a big impact on the gaming market.

The release of the new iPad 3 this spring will not only increase production and sales of iPads but it will also give people a new way to play and enjoy games. Over 4 million iPads are sold every month and analysts expect that rate to continue climbing by the end of 2012 and will probably surpass sales for the Wii, xbox 360, and PS3. Challenges still stand in the way for the iPad. For example, some games such as Call of Duty are very large in filesize and will take longer to transition. If Apple plans to compete with Xbox and PlayStation, they are going to need to create a controller for the iPad that hardcore gamers can adjust to. If Apple is going to make the iPad compatible with other consoles, the iPad is expected to make an incredible impact on the gaming market. The bigger screen resolution for the iPad 3 won't be the feature that entices hardcore gamers, however if Apple decides to keep the iPad 2 in their lineup with a cheaper price, sales will continue to increase.
